Submitted films should be the original work of the participants and they should not have any copyright or any other rights of third parties.
Contestants agree that they own all music, sound and all necessary permissions provided in the contest film. The participating competitor agrees that perhaps ‘TNISFC’ will not be held responsible for copyright infringement.
‘TNISFC’ reserves the right not to screen any film for reasons of ineligibility.
Any offense or violation happened by the competitor during the contest period may be filed case under the Indian Criminal Procedure Act and the Indian Media Act against the contestant.
If the participant is under the age of 18, their parent or legal guardian must sign the application. When the award is received by the parent or legal guardian on behalf of the winners under the age of 18 years, the relevant official proof shall be obtained.
Children and the blood relations of the organizing committee/selection committee and referees of ‘TNISFC’ are not allowed to participate in the contest.
The competitor, film Production Company or organization should not use the name of ‘Tamil Nadu International Short Film Contest’ and logo for any commercial, cultural or personal need. It should not be used without the consent of the organizing committee. If any person or organization finds out that they are doing so, they will be severely prosecuted.
