GUIDELINES OF VIDEO SUBMISSION:-

1. The short film has been done after Jan 2018.

2. The applicant can send the movie (in) DVD, Memory card, or google link, etc.

3. Inputs must be PAL format only. NTSC is not accepted. DVD’s must be in .MP4 or .MOV format. Competition management is not responsible if the film is not screened due to a problem with the DVD or pen drive.

4. The film can be a documentary, experimental story, fiction, non-fiction, or animation. The original film can be made in 35mm, 16mm, HD, TG Beta, Beta SP, U – Matic, TV, and DVD format. But the film must be available on DVD or Pen Drive/ google link for presentation or preview purposes.

5. Total running time should 05 minutes to 30 minutes or less than including front and back credits.

6. Short films can be in any language or genre. All non-English films must have English subtitles for a competitive presentation

7. A Censor certificate is not mandatory for the film screening.

8. Two DVDs or one pen drive must be submitted with the entry. Each preview DVD must be labeled with a title, running time, contact email, and phone number. If the applicant sends the videos to a Pen Drive for a separate paper, please specify the title, running time, contact email, and telephone number of the application and the producer/director of the Movie with the entry form.

9. A person can compete for one or more films. But only one film
is allowed for one application. If an applicant wants to submit more than
one film they have to apply in a separate application for each film.

10. TNISFC reserves the right to use film inputs /received/selected/ nominated films, DVDs, and materials from the film for promotional purposes and to keep DVD copies of each film as part of our content library.

11. Films that are once selected or submitted for final screening are not allowed to be returned under any circumstances.

12. Promotional material (brochure, stills, poster, etc.) and the summary of the short film must be attached to the entry. All materials submitted will not be returned to the entrant. TNISFC will never be responsible for any damage caused by a DVD or pen drive sent via courier.

13. The applicant will cover the transportation costs for the DVD, Pen Drive Poster, and other files related to the movie.

14. Applicants must accept the courier cost of files sent by the airline for the competition from the other states or overseas. TNISFC will never accept courier costs.

Films must be submitted before the deadline. The ‘TNISFC’ is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage, stolen or improper entries.

Entry Forms with incorrect / inadequate / vague / incomplete details will not be considered. The CONTEST Committee reserves the right to accept or reject with any of its movies without any reason.

DVDs or pen drives submitted for selection will be considered final. No changes will be made after submission. It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit DVDs or Pen Drive without any physical / quality defects.

This competition is open to professionals and students. No privileges for students.

Selection Procedures

A candidate sending short films for the competition will be selected by a selection committee consisting of filmmakers, production companies, directors, actors and film technicians. The event organizers are not discriminated against.
